Enabling the Carwise Feature

The Workflow - Customer's View feature is a customer self-service Web site that allows customers access to vehicle repair status online. When the feature is configured, customers can view vehicle status, view images, repair history, and repair facility contact information. Customers also have the ability to send messages to the estimator assigned to the workfile.

Repair status information also becomes available to repair facility customers via http://CARWISE.com.

The Carwise Setup Wizard allows you to configure your own Carwise Shop Profile Web page, share your shop calendar, and allows customers to connect to you directly all at no charge to you.

Note: This feature can be deactivated in the same screen if needed.

To enable the Carwise feature

  1. Select Configure Profiles from the menu bar.
  2. Select your repair facility profile, and then select Edit from the mini-toolbar.
  3. Click on the Carwise link under Repair Management.
  4. Select the Configure option. The Address and Phone Number screen opens.
  5. Edit the information in this screen if needed, and then select Next. The Company Information screen opens.
  6. Enter a shop description, upload an image that appears on printed reports, and enter your Facebook Page address.
  7. Select Next. The Hours of Operation screen opens.
  8. Edit business hours on the screen if needed, and then select Next. The Website Profile screen opens.
  9. Select the options you want to appear on the Carwise Shop Profile Web page, and then select Next. The Facility Images screen opens.
  10. Upload shop images you want to appear on the Carwise Shop Profile Web page, and then select Finish.
  11. Click OK, and then select Save or Save and Close from the toolbar.
